Loqate Geo+
We're excited to introduce our new dataset, Loqate Geo+. We’ve combined geocodes, UPRNs and UDPRNs with Royal Mail’s Postal Address File (PAF®) to provide you with a more complete and detailed view of UK locations. This new dataset will offer roof-top geocodes for UK addresses.
How Loqate Geo+ can help you
We love addresses but sometimes, they're just not accurate enough. This is where geocodes come in. By having a latitude and longitude associated with an address, you can locate a property with greater precision. This level of accuracy can save you time and money, especially when it comes to logistics and deliveries.
As the largest reseller of PAF® in the UK, we're keenly aware of the challenges businesses face. Our customers can benefit from a reduction in time per delivery and increase in the number of drops per route.
Contactless delivery has made the importance of location data even greater. Ensure your customers continue to receive their goods in a timely manner by utilising this new dataset.
Why use Loqate Geo+
Increase the accuracy of your address data using geocodes to provide more precise location information (accurate to within 1 metre) – this will help reduce the chance of failed delivery.
Let customers know expected times of delivery with planned journeys and times.
Seamlessly link records (across databases) using the UPRN as the common identifier. By combining personal and location data, you can remove duplicates and create a single customer view.
What's included in Loqate Geo+?
PAF
PAF® is Royal Mail's Postcode Address File - a database of highly accurate and Postcode information containing 30 million residential and business addresses, and a total of 1.8 million postcodes. PAF® covers the entire UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, and includes BFPO (British Forces Post Office) addresses. Updated daily with approx. 3,000-5,000 updates every day.
Geocodes
Enhance address data by appending latitude and longitude coordinates. This will augment your data with the most accurate and up-to-date geospatial information.
UPRN/UPDRN
This is an 8 or 12 digit reference number assigned to every addressable location in the UK. This unique identifier remains consistent throughout the life of a property.
