What3words provides a simple way to identify and name anywhere in the world by dividing the world into 3m x 3m squares and providing each square with a unique three-word address. It then converts GPS coordinates into unique three-word addresses, so that people can refer to any precise location in just three words. For example, when you're standing at the top of the Statue of Liberty the three words are ///planet.inches.most. 

Traditionally a customer would give specific and special instructions for where they would like their delivery to be left, this can be open to misinterpretation and potentially result in a failed delivery. It becomes interesting when you combine what3words with address capture. 

While the words ‘Gender’, ‘Wiring’ and ‘Patio’ might not mean much individually, to us it's a very precise location. A combination of three words gives your delivery team any 3m x 3m location within a property's boundary without the need for manual instruction from the customer. This means you can leave the package in a safe place at the customer's request without the need for contact, for example, the garden shed, a key safe lock box or even behind a blossoming plum tree.
