Verify Enhanced Country Tool and monthly data updates

Discover our Verify Enhanced Country tool and see how transitioning from quarterly to monthly data updates significantly boosts verification efficiency.

Verify address data is now updated monthly.

We have transitioned from updating and refreshing the Verify platform's reference address data twice a quarter to a monthly schedule. This change allows our customers to benefit from the latest address data updates more frequently. SaaS customers will automatically receive these updates without any action required. On-premises customers should refer to this page for details on new data and API release schedules.

Improved support for seven-digit postcodes in Argentina

erify has a custom handling when dealing with existing Argentina postcode, where verify application would return full postcode although there is only partial postal code in reference data. Hence, this creates ambiguity in a lot of Argentina addresses where partial postal code is used as reference and giving false-positive field statuses as Verified Large Change.

Our data suppliers are now incrementally providing full 7-character Argentine postal codes. We are now able to show the full postal codes when available and gives better accuracy in address verification. When only a 4-character postcode is available it will be reformatted to a generic 7-character format as before. And the verified address returns the expected field statuses.

Improved identification of addresses using Verify Enhanced Country Tool

Verify Enhanced Country Tool allows automatic country detection for occasions when a country is not included in the input address. This tool makes use of Locality, AdministrativeArea, DependentLocality and PostalCode address information provided for verification of the input address.

Some users' application did not have countries in the addresses, and they use Verify Enhanced Country Tool to assist in checking and cleansing their customer’s addresses. For example, on a use case; almost all Scottish addresses in the city of Glasgow returned as Irish addresses and causes wrong address returned. Glasgow is defined as locality and there is Street in the input address also defined as locality for UK country detection. The logic has been improved to allow better identification of UK addresses based on attributes use for country scoring.
