We’ve improved our US data, providing customers with over 220 million newly validated records, all of which include precise geocodes.
We’ve improved our US data, providing customers with over 220 million newly validated records, all of which include precise geocodes. We’ve achieved this by moving from ranged to non-ranged data. Previously, we could only confirm the existence of addresses within a range (e.g., 1 to 100). Now, with specific premise-level information, we can verify each address is reachable. This enhancement will improve address match rates in the US, allowing our customers to experience the same quality and depth of data across all our addressing products.
Additionally, we can now return the FIPS county code, a dataset typically only accessible via US certified census data. The inclusion of FIPS provides a standardised way to identify geographic areas, enhancing data accuracy and consistency for our customers

We continually enhance our data to better support global needs. Our focus is on expanding coverage in key regions, starting with Brazil, followed by Turkey, and later Mexico. These updates aim to deliver a minimum 10% uplift in data coverage, with potential increases of up to 20%, ensuring our solutions meet evolving market demands.

We've introduced additional countries to our new geocoding type ahead feature which offers users the ability to search for locations by Town, City, or Postcode. This functionality is now live in the UK, USA, Germany, Italy, France, Ireland, Spain, Czech, Republic, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia and Slovakia. This enhancement further streamlines the process of finding physical locations, saving time and enhancing the online-to-offline experience.

We are in the process of launching a dedicated Loqate Slack community, with the aim to strengthen our connections with the developer and tech community. This platform will serve as a space for tech users to interact with us and each other, building a strong internal tech community. By encouraging as many tech team members as possible to join, we aim to facilitate conversations, discussions and be on hand to offer expert advice. Additionally, a feedback mechanism will be in place to gather insights from the community, which will inform our developer experience roadmap.

We have started integrating Ordnance Survey data into Verify for the UK. This enhancement aims to improve data coverage for companies serving more than just residential customers. It includes data such as power station addresses and other non-postal addresses that are not covered by PAF. This additional data enables businesses to accurately verify and reach a wider range of addresses, including critical infrastructure and commercial locations. Meaning better service delivery and operational efficiency for companies with diverse address verification needs.

We’re validating a POC for Location Fraud Signals to offer Loqate customers risk indicators for addresses, helping them identify and manage risky users
Location fraud signals
We are actively exploring and validating a proof of concept (POC) for Location Fraud Signals. Our goal is to provide Loqate customers with risk indicators for each address, based on both positive and suspicious activities associated with that address. This discovery now extends beyond address verification by exploring email fraud checks as part of an initial fraud screening process. This allows our customers to gauge the risk of a customer signup, based on their email address.
